Emmanuel Combe

Emmanuel Combe joined Image 7 as an independent Senior Advisor in December 2022. He assists companies in defining and implementing their competitive strategy, as well as in competition policy and market regulation issues. He is currently Professor of Economics at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and at Skema Business School. After 5 years in a government minister’s office (2007/2012), he was Vice-President of the French Competition Authority (Autorité de la concurrence) from 2012 to 2022, where he handled numerous antitrust and M&A cases. Emmanuel Combe’s publications include « La concurrence » (2022, PUF) and « Economie et politique de la concurrence » (2020, Dalloz). He is a former student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure (LSH), agrégé in social sciences, doctor in economics and agrégé of the Facultés de droit et sciences économiques.
