Xavier Couture

Senior advisor to Image Sept since 2018, Xavier Couture is a media and culture specialist. He is currently President of Théâtre de la Ville et du Châtelet in Paris. He was CEO of France Télévisions (2016-2018), Director of Content at Orange (2007-2013), Chairman of several subsidiaries of the Endemol Group (2003-2006), Chairman of the Canal Group (2002-2003), Director of Broadcasting for the TF1 Group (1988-2002), and was part of the creative team behind L’Equipe Magazine before launching the daily Le Sport. He is also the author of two novels, « Coma » (Grasset-2002) and « Et pourtant j’étais mort » (Editions du Masque-2012), a television essay « La dictature de l’émotion » (Editions L. Audibert-2005), and the libretto for the recital and orchestra concerto « Sénèque, dernier jour » by Eric Tanguy.

Image Sept has some 70 employees including over 40 consultants. They come from a wide variety of backgrounds (journalism, finance department, communication department, ministerial offices, etc.) and together cover all aspects of communication and institutional relations.
