James Harvey

A consultant at Image 7 since 2026, James has nearly 20 years’ experience in corporate and financial communications, gained both in-house and at agency. He has worked with clients and companies in the financial services, tech, energy and retail industries, advising on corporate positioning, reputational risk and financial communications. Before joining Image 7, James held senior in-house communications roles at global asset managers AllianceBernstein and BSP (part of Franklin Templeton) where he oversaw communications and branding across EMEA. Prior to this, James spent more than a decade in consultancy, as head of corporate and financial communications at a leading boutique communications agency in London. He holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Sussex.

Image Sept has some 70 employees including over 40 consultants. They come from a wide variety of backgrounds (journalism, finance department, communication department, ministerial offices, etc.) and together cover all aspects of communication and institutional relations.
